Welcome to Kayjen Consulting LLC ("Kayjen," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at kayjen.com and all related services, workshops, consultations, and educational materials (collectively, the "Services").
By booking a session, purchasing a workshop, or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Services Description
Kayjen provides educational workshops, one-on-one consultations, and training materials focused on artificial intelligence tools and strategies for everyday users. Our Services include:
- Group Workshops: 60-minute interactive online sessions (up to 10 participants)
- One-on-One Consultations: 60-minute private sessions via Microsoft Teams
- Educational Materials: Guides, templates, and resources provided during or after sessions
- We do not provide legal, financial, medical, or professional advice
- We are not responsible for business decisions you make based on our educational content
- We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from using AI tools
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase our Services. By using our Services, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the authority to enter into these Terms.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
3.2 Pricing

Prices are in USD and subject to change. The price you pay at booking is final.
3.3 Payment Due
Payment is required in full at the time of booking. Your session is not confirmed until payment is received.
3.4 Failed Payments
If payment fails, your booking will be automatically canceled. We are not responsible for missed sessions due to payment issues.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on our no-refund policy and rescheduling options.
5. Session Policies
5.1 Attendance
- Sessions begin at the scheduled time. Late arrivals cannot extend the session beyond the scheduled end time.
- If you miss your session without canceling, no refund or reschedule will be provided.
5.2 Technical Requirements
You are responsible for:
- A stable internet connection
- Access to Microsoft Teams (via browser or app)
- Any software or accounts needed for hands-on exercises (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude)
We are not responsible for technical issues on your end that prevent participation.
5.3 Conduct
We maintain a respectful, professional learning environment. We reserve the right to remove participants who:
- Use offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language
- Disrupt the session for others
- Violate intellectual property rules (see Section 6)
No refund will be provided for removal due to misconduct.
6. Intellectual Property and Recording
6.1 Our Content
All materials provided by Kayjen—including slides, handouts, code samples, videos, and recordings—are protected by copyright and owned by Kayjen Consulting LLC.
You may:
- ✅ Use materials for your personal, non-commercial purposes
- ✅ Reference techniques and concepts in your own work
You may NOT:
- ❌ Record, reproduce, or redistribute our materials without written permission
- ❌ Resell, republish, or claim our content as your own
- ❌ Use our materials for commercial training or consulting without a license
6.2 Session Recording
We may record sessions for quality assurance, training purposes, or to provide you with a recording afterward. By attending a session, you consent to being recorded.
If you do not consent, you must notify us before the session begins. We will accommodate your request where possible, but some sessions may require recording (e.g., for group workshop playback).
6.3 Your Recordings
You may NOT record our sessions without explicit written permission. Unauthorized recording is a violation of these Terms and may result in legal action.
7. Limitation of Liability
Educational Purposes Only: Our Services are provided for educational and informational purposes. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the information provided.
No Warranties: Our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kayjen Consulting LLC, its owners, instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Lost profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from your use (or inability to use) our Services
Maximum Liability: In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
Business Decisions: You acknowledge that any decisions you make based on our educational content are your sole responsibility. We are not liable for outcomes resulting from your use of AI tools, software, or strategies discussed in our sessions.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kayjen Consulting LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your misuse of our Services or materials
- Your violation of any third-party rights
9. Privacy and Data Use

10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10.2 Arbitration
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration will take place in Charleston, South Carolina, or remotely if agreed upon.
You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
10.3 Exceptions
Either party may seek injunctive relief in court to prevent intellectual property infringement or unauthorized use of materials.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or by posting a notice on our website at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of our Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate your access to our Services at any time for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or unlawful activity
- Disruptive or abusive behavior
Termination does not entitle you to a refund unless required by law.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kayjen Consulting LLC regarding our Services.
